You know that saying about the inmates running the asylum?
It's starting to feel like that could happen here at any moment.
J and I had a pow wow tonight about our new strategeries where the RGs and discipline are concerned.
Why?
A few things have happened lately.
-A couple of runaways just for the power trip of it all. One of which was a mad dash into a parking lot.
-Explosive reactions where the anger is taken out on a twin instead of the parent or situation they're mad at
And the one that almost made me bust out laughing while simultaneously making my blood boil...
Me: You're being very disrespectful.
Her: {gunslinger stare} Yes.
Her: And misopedient
Me: Yes you are being disobedient.
Her: And rude!
Her: And ugly!
Her: {more staring}

Yeah, that one made the Marmee laugh loud and often. Not the runaways, though.
I will have to make sure that TJ doesn't rub off on Courtney/Danielle too much when we see them this weekend. :o) The sassiness has been in full effect here also. 4 ... what a fun age. hahaha
we are in the same boat! Didn't we JUST have that conversation about the kids growing into their new discipline issues? Well, IT'S HERE. We are full of sass and arguing and rudeness too. I've got to re-read all those spirited child and logic books.
