A couple of weeks ago our playgroup met up at the nature and science center for an adventure. Em and Roo had such an awesome time exploring and investigating. We are so fortunate to have such amazing resources nearby.

Science Kids

...or Nature Girls...
Our toddler twin friends arranged a playdate at the local Nature and Science Center today. For all 8 of the kids and 4 of the mommies. That's decent odds. On a good day. And it was a good day.



It is total fun viewing all these experiences through the fresh eyes of Em and Roo.


Even the 'no dogs allowed' sign was fun. Roo read it to us and then explained, "No Maggie Dogs. Bye dogs!"

Em was quick to point out the owls and tell us what noises they make.


After a quick trip through the animal habitats, our group toddled out to the Dino Pit to dig and explore.




But, Roo found the bubbles in my backpack and Em noticed a group of older boys. So, neither of the RGs did much digging for dinos.

After lunch, on the way home, I asked them about the day. They each took turns telling me about the details they noticed. Like the pumpkin sitting in the coyote's enclosure. And the turtle diagrams on the walls inside the center.

The world from a 3 foot viewpoint is pretty fascinating.
