Roo has a new game. It requires audience participation.
She stands outside the door to her room and paces just a bit while saying, "Okay. Ready? Here we go. Mama, Daddy, Sissy? Here we go. One... Two.... Okay?"
So, the three of us, inside the room, count aloud in unison...
"One. Two. Threeeeeeeeee... ROO!"
As her name is announced, Roo proudly bustles through the doorway, waving and grinning a little cat-canary smirk.
Then, we do it all again.
The girl likes to make an entrance.

After the 20th triumphant entrance, J and I agreed to switch it up on Roo. On entrance number 21, we yelled, "Norm!"
Roo was not amused.
We got a toddler's version of a lecture on the rules of the game and were made to repeat it a few more times to make sure we understood how to play correctly.
That'll teach us.
